Hope Hicks (allegedly) Entangled In White House Love Triangle. Jealousy Involved!
NY Post — Jealousy over Rob Porter dating his ex-girlfriend Hope Hicks likely led Corey Lewandowski, President Trump’s former campaign manager, to leak the wife-beating allegations that ultimately forced Porter’s resignation, according to a new report.
Porter’s second ex-wife, Jennifer Willoughby, told New York magazine that Porter in January desperately tried to get her to remove a blog post in which she accused him of physical abuse because he feared someone was “going to send it to the media.”
“He did not name names, but he implied that there was a former staffer from the White House who was unhappy with him and was out to get him and take him down and somehow had gotten wind of my blog post,” Willoughby told the magazine.
Hey Hope, get the hell out of Washington and get out of there fast! Run! Sprint! Plenty of room for you here in New York City. My apartment is small but cozy. Very cozy. We can make room — golf clubs won’t like it but we can move them to a closet. Just do yourself (me) a favor and get out of Washington as soon as humanly possible! Get to NYC where you belong!
Look, Hope Hicks had a great run. Incredible run. A legendarily unlikely rise from run-of-the-mill Trump aide to White House communications director in about 6 months. Amazing stuff, and she somehow became the White House communications director without ever communicating publicly with anybody. Became this mythical figure bizarrely respected in a West Wing that does not get much respect.
But that couldn’t last forever. What goes up must come down. From objects affected by earth’s gravitational pull to dicks to the White House trajectory of the delightful Hope Hicks, what goes up must come down. It’s just science. The hounds are relentless, both those inside the White House and those covering it, and those fuckers stop at nothing. From the Mr. Porter situation — who it appears (allegedly) does not treat women with an overwhelming amount of respect — to love triangles with the former campaign manager creating crazy jealousy which then served as the catalyst for the unveiling of Mr. Porter’s aforementioned lack of respect for women, the signs are aplenty. It is time to go. The resignation was smart (well done, kudos), but every extra day spent in DC is time poorly spent.
The past is Washington. Let’s all pray for a very Hopeful future here in New York…
